ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT FI

How much does your lifestyle burden the evironment?
All of our daily activities affect our environment.

Ecological footprint is an indicator to examine the relationship between our lifestyle and choices to the well-being of our Earth.

It tells us how much land our standard of living and lifestyle requires.

By recording certain activities (transportation, water consumption, clothing, leisure time, food, waste and living space) for three days you can estimate your own ecological footprint. It tells you how many hectares of land is required to support your activities. As the basis of the meter is used Tim Turner's calculator (Tim Turner Green TEacher June-September 1996, pp. 30-31, #48).

Estimate your own ecological footprint by filling out the form!
